A Fond Farewell

It is with great regret that I have decided there is little point in continuing with Topical Tuesday. There seems little point in continuing with a meme when you are the only participant and so I bid adieu. The domain is due to expire this August and I think TT, rather sadly, has had its day.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants for creating some really memorable posts and really getting into the spirit of things.

Topic #42 Write a letter to yourself

In this weeks Topical Tuesday we would like you to write a letter to yourself – it can be your past or future self.

Beyond that the content is entirely your own to decide! Is there something you would like to tell your past self? Is there something you would like to remind your future self? Be creative!

Topic #41 The Big Read

Out of all the books you have read during the course of your lifetime which have you enjoyed the most or, if you prefer, which have inspired you the most?

Which books would you recommend to your visitors as must reads for the coming year?

Topic #40 Time Machine

You will be pleased to know I have invented the Time Machine (patent pending)*. I need some test subjects, so I am giving each TT participant one weeks usage of my Time Machine.

Will you go forward and visit the future? or will you go back? Give us all the juicy details.

*Not really

Go away and post your answer on your own sites (remembering to link to, trackback or comment here afterwards), or, if you wish, you may post your answer here in the comments section.

Topic #39 The Ultimate Dinner Guests

You have been chosen to host a dinner party by Death (yes, thats right, the one with the big scythe). He is to bring with him two other guests of your choosing. They should be someone you would have liked to have met.

Who are they and why? Optionally you may also answer (if you are of the foodie persuasion) what would you serve to your esteemed guests?

Topic #38 Stranded on a Desert Island

After a long holiday abroad you are on a flight back home when the plane suddenly explodes and crashes on a desert Island. Only Six of the passengers survive.

In the hold there seems to be six rucksacks each marked with the name of each of the six survivors. When you open yours you discover it contains five items you would have packed had you known this was going to happen.

What are these items and why would you have packed them?

(Guess which series this was influenced by?)

Topic #37: Food War

We shall continue our light-on-thinking topics this week with something I think everyone can really get into.  A food war.  What’s a food war?  It’s like any other war, really.  One side against another.  Just, in this case, both sides are foods.

This week, we shall delve into two snacks which I hold dear to me.

Jello or Pudding.

Which will it be?  The wiggly, jiggly, mind-boggling moving concoction?  Or that creamy, dreamy, smooth-as-butter confection?

You decide!!

Topic #36: Nonsensensical Imaginings

This week, we decided we wanted to do something a little less brain taxing.  Something out there.  Something which just makes you laugh when you read the topic.  But, do think about it a little bit when posting your thoughts on it.

A fight to the death…

Lara Croft VS. Batman

Discuss.

Topic #35 Script Writing Part 1

To celebrate the start of Script Frenzy on the 1st of April 2010 we are attributing two topics to the whole event. Part One is as follows -

Your writing has caught the public´s attention and now there are calls for you to write a screenplay/stage play/TV script (pick one, and dont worry we arent going to ask you to write the whole thing).

All we would like you do this week is either write a proposal for your idea or a brief introductory scene… It does not have to be an epic.

Topic #34 Life List

I recently had the urge to write one of these myself. I found it hugely helpful – not only to remind myself of childhood dreams and ambitions long since forgotten, but also to remember that there are some things I have achieved.

This weeks challenge is to write a Life List of ten things you would like to do before you die. Only ten mind – make them count.
